Poster Session and Display Information
Poster sessions and displays will take place from Dec 8 afternoon- Dec 11 noon at Macau, China. All poster sessions will take place in BigData meeting area at the conference hotel. You can set up your poster in the afternoon of Dec 8, which will be displayed for the duration of the conference. The lunch/coffee breaks on the 9th, 10th and 11th will be allocated for poster presentations. Please stay in front of your poster and explain it to the audience.
(Authors who will take their posters home should remove them by Dec 11 at 2:00 p.m. We will dispose of any posters left after the time.)
Poster Board Specifications
Poster drafts and final poster should be portrait format with a maximum size given by the A0 standard (841 x 1189 mm; or 33.1 x 46.8 in). Presentation materials may be attached using pushpins or tape. The poster board surface is approximately 3' high x 4' wide and boards are made of foam core and will be displayed on tripod aluminum easels. Each board will have pushpins and tape available for presenters to secure their paper. There will be internet access, however, no AV equipment or electrical outlets available in the poster areas.
Suggested Materials & Tips for Poster Sessions
It is recommended that poster presenters use thin, lightweight poster paper for their poster and please keep it to the size listed above. Heavier paper or cardboard may be difficult to keep in position on the board.
